Reading for the Rest of September

September 17, 2007 · Leave a Comment

Here’s what I plan on reading during the rest of this month.

Working on it and plan to finish it by the end of the month:

  • What Is Good and Why: The Ethics of Well-Being, Richard Kraut
  • The Elm and the Expert, Jerry Fodor
  • Moral Minds: The Nature of Right and Wrong, Marc D. Hauser

Will start it soon and probably finish it by the end of the month:

  • Lack of Character, John Doris
  • Reasons and the Good, Roger Crisp

Will be reading around in it but without the intention of going cover-to-cover:

  • The Cambridge Companion to Mill, John Skorupski (ed.)
  • Contemporary Social Psychological Theories, Peter Burke
  • Normativity and the Will, R. Jay Wallace (if I can get a hold of it)

Won’t finish but will still be working on it:

  • Crime and Punishment, Fyodor Dostoyevsky
